Firstly, you have to talk to your wife calmly and carefully and ask her about her expenses. Try to figure out whether those expenses were necessary or not and then only oppose her. But, you can’t file a divorce against her because she is financially exploiting you. A husband has a right to file a petition for divorce with or without mutual consent only based on the grounds of cruelty, desertion, conversion, adultery, disease, mental disorder, renunciation, and presumption of death. You can’t file a divorce against your wife as she is financially exploiting you because as per the recent Supreme Court judgment, the wife is entitled of least 25% of the income of the husband as maintenance.
