If somebody gives wrong information and file the FIR against you then you can ask police to prove it and you can explain them these don’t to keep in mind while filing any complain. 
If they assert you without warrent then you can take any strict action beacuse the FIR was not proven and no witnesses have been collected by them.

• Never exaggerate or distort facts.
• Never make vague or unclear statements.
