You can also file a case against your wife and your friend under IPC section 307: Attempt to murder. For an attempt to murder you should file an FIR with the local police along with domestic violence charges. For Domestic Violence alone, you can make a complain to the magistrate. In case the Police fail to register FIR, alternatively, the magistrate can be approached for the same.
