Although the Indian Constitution doesn’t have any kind of law for men for being sexually harassed by anyone, there are ways you can tackle this situation at your end. You will need to be calm first and have to understand how much will it be worth it for you if you raise your voice against this. We would say that you must raise your voice as you’re not the only one who’s facing this and because you’ve raised this question publicly, we assume you’re really a strong person and want to fight back. There are men who don’t have enough courage to stand for themselves, you’re fighting for them too.
How to revert on this?
You should first complain about this to the higher authority of the airport and ask them to look into the matter. Make sure they check the CCTV footage of the airport where you were present and this activity took place. Hence, this is not an appropriate behaviour one should act in so you’re free to take action as you want. There is no law presented in the Indian Constitution that can actually help you but maybe in future, we can have laws in favour of men and their well-being.
What else you can do?
You can ask the higher authority of the airport to suspend the guard as other people can also be his target once this matter gets covered under the ice.
There is no point in reacting aggressively and angrily, although it’s obvious to react this way. But, nothing can be changed, you should simply request the authority to take strict actions against the guard so he would never try to repeat this activity with anyone else.
You should not fear raising your voice for your well-being and for others too.
